The
following document sets forth the Privacy Policy associated with the use of the
data collected by the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs (MFCA) for
processing by the eApplication Portal solution. In all respects, this Policy
shall be subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, Chap. 22:04 of
the Laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago or any statutory modification
or re-enactment thereof.
The
Privacy Policy for the eApplication Portal sets out the prevailing principles
of the MFCA concerning the privacy of individuals and businesses.
The
collection of personal and business related information shall be treated as
confidential to protect the rights of the applicant and the applicant's related
parties. The following personal information has been classified in accordance
with the Data Protection Act, Chap. 22:04, as any information about an
identifiable individual which is recorded in any form including, but not

MFCA provides this Privacy Policy, which is to be read together with its Terms
and Conditions, to make you aware of its practices and the choices you can make
about the way your information is collected and used. Therefore, in promoting
easy access to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, the MFCA makes
these available on the eApplication Portal solution's homepage.

each visitor to access the website, the eApplication Portal solution expressly
collects the following non-personally identifiable information, including but
not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages
viewed while browsing the site, page access times and referring website

we share it with
The
MFCA will not sell, rent, license, trade, or transfer your personal
identifiable information to external parties save and except for trusted third
parties. The MFCA will only share your personal information to trusted third
parties who are necessary to the application processing activities within the
Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (GoRTT). These trusted third
parties are governed by the MFCA's privacy policies with respect to the use of
this information and are bound by the appropriate confidentiality agreements.
Your information will neither be stored on the MFCA's systems nor on that of
any of the MFCA's third parties' affiliates.
Choice
The
MFCA will not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to
it online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without first informing
you and also offering you a choice.

secure is your personal information?
The
MFCA is committed to ensuring the security of your information. In order to
prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure
the appropriate use of information, your data is stored in a highly secure
environment and access is restricted to legitimate users. Multiple layers of
protection are used to guard against illegal access to Data, such as Network
and Application Firewalls, Passwords and data Encryption.
The
MFCA designs, builds and runs its systems to ensure that your data is as safe
as possible at all stages, both while it is processed and when it is stored.
All personal data is stored within the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The
MFCA maintains its security audit to ensure that the application and your
information is always secure.
Changes

MFCA reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy, however, if
